Kaiser - A Heroic Fantasy Hack of MÖRK BORG

Kaiser is a heroic fantasy TTRPG that translates the ruleset of Mork Borg into a significantly-less deadly and miserable environment. The game is designed to be quick to pick up and easy to play thanks to its Mork-Borg-ian core, but makes the system significantly less deadly by generally raising stats and health. Inside this book you'll find the following:

• 12 Ancestries, from humans, elves, and dwarves to minotaurs and tree people.

I spent 11 months making Kaiser because I thought it was unfair that people new to TTRPGs didn’t have a really simple system that also had all the trappings that make the big dragon game appealing. This is the book I wish I could recommend to my friends who want to get into “D&D”, and I thought it might serve you all some use as well. This is not a pastiche of B/X games, like a lot of the OSR is trying to achieve. This is more analogous in vibe and player power to 5E, translated into the Borg system for it’s simplicity, hackability, and class expression.

Kaiser is a completely standalone game and does not require Mork Borg nor any other books to play. Supplements for this game, however, may be released in the future.
